Many of you have already discovered that you can Submit an Event for inclusion to Techsocial’s calendar! It’s a simple process, where I’ll review, html-beautify, and almost certainly approve it. So if you have a Chicago user group, tech entrepreneurial networking event, conference, or anything else you think appropriate, please share it with hundreds of us like-minded Chicagoland-ers.

P.S. Do you have a knack for knowing about events? Can you type between 12 and 89 wpm? Would you like to be a bona-fide editor on Techsocial?

I’m looking for 2-5 volunteers who are willing to publish events they know about. All it involves is periodically posting and approving events: maybe once a month, maybe less. You’ll get the back door keys to the blog, not just be submitting events via the Submit an Event form. In addition to the notoriety you’ll instantly gain in elite tech circles (ha!), I’ve got some sweet-action magnetic schwag that you can have before anyone else. It is sending out events after they have occurred. (Yea, real useful, huh?) The main page is still 100% functional, though, and I know how to fix the feed. I expect to have everything up by next weekend.

Also, you can now Submit an Event! So please do so, and share with Chicago-land your upcoming tech events.
